This lovely print combines traditional Celtic design, minimalist color schemes and light-hearted fantasy. My first thoughts when first rendering this were to capture the freedom dreams of cats. I assume because they sleep so much it must a pleasurable pastime. Cats are so fluid and light in all of their movements, that even without wings, they seem to float. The concept of winged cats appear throughout many cultures and is an almost universally relatable concept.
