The Cast Paper Process

Step 1.

An original masterpiece is carved out of wax.

Step 2.

A mold is made of the wax original.

Step 3.

The mold is filled with a special blend consisting mostly of cotton paper and water.

Step 4.

The contents of the mold is allowed to dry creating a cotton paper cast.

Step 5.

Each cast is individually hand painted by the artist.
